Guided by the theme “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — One Earth, One Family, One Future — the celebration emphasized not only physical fitness, but also the mental and spiritual well-being of people across the globe.

Yoga, a timeless gift from our ancient ancestors, was introduced on the world stage by our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Recognizing its global relevance, the United Nations declared June 21st as International Yoga Day on 1st December 2014. Since then, it has been celebrated annually across the world.

Our students demonstrated dedication and discipline by performing various yoga asanas including:

A special highlight of the event was the formation of the India map through yoga postures — a powerful expression of national unity and cultural pride through the practice of Yoga.

The auspicious event began at 9:00 AM, with traditional rituals including Pravesh Poojan and Vastu Shanti Yagna of the newly built Vidya Nilayam (Academic Block). These sacred rituals were performed in the divine presence of Pujya Mahant Swami Sadguru Shri Devprasaddasji Swami, alongside Pujya Shukvallabhdasji Swami, Pujya Vishudhjivandasji Swami, Pujya Dharmasagardasji Swami, and other esteemed saints of the Gurukul Parivar.

With this new branch, Gurukul Tirupati is now poised to serve students with a world-class infrastructure, aligned with its unique value system of Vidya, Sadvidya, and Brahmavidya. The school will offer an environment that nurtures academic excellence, cultural heritage, and spiritual growth.
