Today, at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, we joyfully began our English Week celebrations. On this exciting first day, the talented students of Class 10 performed a meaningful and entertaining skit in English, spreading important messages with confidence and creativity.

After the skit, an engaging question-answer session was held on English language topics. Students eagerly participated, and those who answered correctly were congratulated and rewarded with gifts, making the session both educational and encouraging.

It was a wonderful start to the week, igniting enthusiasm for learning English in a fun and inspiring way.

One of the most heartwarming highlights of the event was the Fancy Dress Competition, where little Gurukulites transformed into inspiring characters using handmade costumes. From freedom fighters to nature-themed representations, the costumes reflected imagination, effort, and a strong connection to cultural and social themes. The students not only dressed up creatively but also confidently presented their characters on stage, leaving the audience in awe.

The football ground saw amazing teamwork, fast passes, and some fantastic goals. Every team played with great spirit and gave their best.

On the cricket pitch, students showed great batting, bowling, and fielding skills. Big sixes and quick wickets kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

Winners were awarded with medals and certificates, but the real joy was in playing together and supporting each other.

With every verse sung and every melody played, hearts open, minds calm, and a deeper connection with the divine is awakened. Rooted in the spirit of unity, faith, and humility, Kirtan Sandhya in Bangalore becomes a sacred space where spiritual growth and collective devotion come alive in harmony.

Children of LKG and UKG came dressed in bright red outfits and brought along red-colored items from home, including toy cars, bulldozers, balloons, and more. Some students confidently recited poems on the theme of red, adding a special charm to the celebration.

To delight the little ones, teachers distributed cartoon-shaped apple cutouts and chocolates, making the event extra sweet.

The celebration concluded with the Principal, Coordinators, and all in-charge teachers coming together for a cheerful group photo with the LKG and UKG students, capturing the beautiful memories of Red Day at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore.

Gurukul was filled with devotion and joy as it welcomed the divine presence of Guru Maharaj Pujya Devkrushnadas Swamiji. The atmosphere turned spiritual and serene as Swamiji arrived at the campus, blessing the environment with his calm and radiant aura.

Students and staff offered a heartwarming welcome with garlands and fresh flowers, expressing their love and respect. The sound of devotional chants and the fragrance of blooming flowers created a divine ambiance that resonated with spiritual bliss.

In addition to the student competitions, the ‘English Mega Event Competition: Poster Making Activity for Parents’ was also held. The competition, titled ‘Words into Art – Parent Poster Showcase,’ was open to parents of students, who could participate individually or as a family entry. The themes for the posters included ‘Digital Parenting in Modern Times,’ ‘My Child’s English Learning Journey,’ and ‘Strong Roots Strong Wings.’
From 53 parents who submitted thier posters on 12/07/25, a selection was made based on certain criteria.

The day began with all students gathering peacefully in the temple, where they offered their prayers with gratitude. Together, they sang a soulful kirtan, dedicating the delicious meal to Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, filling the temple with divine vibrations and a sense of unity.

The energy and synchronization displayed by the marching houses received much applause from the audience and the guests.

Pujya Tirthswaroopdasji Swamiji and Pujya Harivandandasji Swamiji graced the occasion with their divine presence and blessed the students, guiding them on the path of dharma, seva (selfless service), and responsible leadership. Their words of wisdom emphasized the Gurukul values and encouraged the leaders to lead with humility and devotion to duty.

The highlight of the ceremony was the Badging Ceremony, where the newly selected School Council Members were honored with their badges by the guests. As the leaders took their positions with pride, they pledged to uphold the values of the Gurukul and perform their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.

In his address, Inspector B.G. Kumar praised Gurukul Mysore for its unique and value-based leadership selection process, stating that such initiatives instill confidence and responsibility in young minds. He, along with Sub-Inspector Ramesh G and r. Solapur Gurukul proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its students at the 12th UNIFIGHT State Championship – 2025, organized by the Solapur District Unifight Association. Twelve students, aged 10 to 14, represented the Gurukul and showcased remarkable strength, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Their dedication was rewarded with an impressive medal haul: 4 Gold, 5 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals. This achievement reflects not only the students’ hard work but also the excellent training and support provided by the school, coaches and Swamijis.
